WordPress Genesis Post Featured Image Sizes Cheatsheet
Do you use a Genesis Child theme on your blog but have a difficult time remembering the featured post image size that you need? Me too! So here’s a quick reference cheat sheet I started of the featured image sizes. I have a few more blanks to fill in and maybe a few missing Genesis Child themes to add.
Double-check with your theme’s creator as well, likely in the theme setup documents for recommendations about image sizes. The other option you have is to upload an image of any size, and potentially use a plugin to reposition a thumbnail. One word of caution, HUGE, unoptimized images will slow down your blog, and potentially have a negative impact on your traffic.
Where a size was not specified, the maximum width of the content is included as a suggested image size to try.
If you know an answer and notice something it’s listed correctly, drop me a comment below to let me know!
